Saravane situated on the Bolavens Plateau in the Southern part of Lao PDR. Just 2 hours by bus. A prehistoric site exists not far from cascades where you can see that with in a cavern seven very large stone caskets piled one on top of the other, provided not only beauty but also many interesting thoughts as to how it originated. It is called “ the man with the seven elbows”. The main attractions in Saravane are the Bolaven Plateau, Se Xet waterfall, Tat Lo, Lodge and a tour of the area on elephant back is an exotic attraction around the jungle and spend a romantic with nature. The Bolaven has a Number of tribe villages where they live in Stone Age culture.
